Rebecca A. Fannin is an editor, author and expert on global innovation and investment trends. She is the founder of Silicon Dragon, a news, events and research group focused on investment and innovation in China, the U.S. and other leading tech hubs internationally.

A writer with Forbes since 2010, Rebecca pens a weekly online column and has contributed to the Forbes rich list, Power Women, and 30 under 30 special reports. She also writes for CNBC.com.

Rebecca is an author of three books, Silicon Dragon (McGraw-Hill, 2008), Startup Asia (John Wiley, 2011) and Innovation in Emerging Markets (Palgrave Macmillan, 2016). Her books have been translated into Chinese, Vietnamese and Arabic, and have received favorable reviews from the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, China Daily and New York Times.

Highlights of her global journalism career include: editor of the Pulitzer-owned International Business magazine in New York, international editor at Incisive Media in Hong Kong, and international news editor at Red Herring in San Francisco.
