The growing convergence of arts and technology has driven ArtTech to become a global cultural trend. The way we perceive and respond to an artwork has been revolutionized as we harness the power of technology and use it to reimagine what is possible in the artistic world. Policies have been launched in the last two years, boosting the city’s ArtTech development and making it our mission to consolidate Hong Kong’s position as an international arts and cultural hub. In this session, we will bring in academic, industry practitioner, investor and start-up representatives to give us an overview of Hong Kong’s ArtTech development and its application in music, design and more. We will also dig deeper into how ArtTech integrates the concepts of blockchain, web3 and digital assets with our daily lives, the risks that come with it and the challenges face by creators in the industry.

Have you ever estimated the time you have from your “retirement” to the end? It is said that with today’s rising lifespans, we may find ourselves facing roughly 20 or more years in retirement, which is approximately 8,000 days. People’s view on “retirement” has changed in recent years. Instead of an end, it is rather considered to be a new and unknown phase of life. Still, our quality of living and health condition are bound to be declining as we age. To deal with a rapidly aging population and to upgrade elderly care services, the development of GeronTech is vital. Academic, industry practitioner, investor and start-up representatives are brought in in this session to discuss how retirement has “evolved” and GeronTech applications make life easier and pain free for the elderly. They will also look into the demands and challenges faced by the industry.

New terminology such as ESGTech, Good Tech and SocialTech have risen in recent years as more and more companies are putting smart to work for good – applying technology to help address some of the world’s most pressing challenges and defining responsible stewardship in the digital age. In this session, we will bring in academics, industry practitioner, investors and start-up representatives to explain the innovation model of doing good, the application of SocialTech on a local and regional scale and the ESG impacts it has driven which redefine our daily practices. Further discussion will focus on inspiring and guiding entrepreneurs to take on SocialTech and develop sustainable strategies.
